Mindhunter Season 2 Review: 5 Ups & 3 Downs
4. Even More Superb Acting
Mindhunter couldn't possibly work, or at least couldn't be considered such a high quality show, if it weren't for the excellent acting. For the most part, the entire cast once again did not disappoint.
Bill Tench's inner conflict and frustration were easy to sympathize with in most part thanks to Holt McCallany's superb performance and Holden hadn't lost any of his quiet intensity this season and thanks to Jonathan Groff also remained a joy to watch. Somehow, he also managed to become way more likable.
The show also really hit the mark with supporting characters this season. Henley, Charles Manson, Son of Sam or Wayne Williams wouldn't be half as memorable if not for some truly great casting choices. It's worth to note that none of them really had much time to work with, so it's doubly admirable that they managed to leave their mark.
