2. That He's Related To A Serial Killer
Hailed as the origin for Marc Spector’s dissociative identity disorder, the traumatic event shaped Marc Spector is truly horrific as advertised. As a child, Marc stumbles upon a hidden chamber in his uncle’s home. He investigates to find a flayed man hanging upside down from the ceiling. Worst yet, he’s still alive.
It turns out Marc’s uncle is a Nazi officer that defected from the Nazi regime as the allies invaded Germany. He disguised himself as a Rabbi to avoid detection and moved to the USA. Over the years he has murdered Rabbis for fun, and he’s found Marc in his torture dungeon. Marc escapes with his uncle threatening to find him if he talks.
Even though he was a child the fact he knowingly left a man to die and didn’t even tell anyone would make him culpable in many states in the USA. In addition, his uncle went on to lead the secret society of uber-sadists, which makes the fact he knowingly let his uncle escape even worse.
