4. Where Is Edward?

The main cast of Cowboy Bebop consists of Spike, Faye, Jet and Edward. However, when looking through the promotional material and casting news on this new show, one of those characters is noticeably absent.

It has become clear that the showrunners are choosing not to give us any information about Edward thus far, and while they might have a good reason for it, it's still rather suspicious.

Now, Andre Nemec (the executive producer) has stated in an interview with Polygon that fans hoping to see Ed will be "very delighted when they watch the season". Still, that cryptic message isn't enough to put fans at ease.

The loveable and completely unpredictable Edward is a vital piece of the Cowboy Bebop puzzle, so we all knew they weren't going to cut her out of the show. Still, what is their plan with her, and why do they feel the need to keep it under wraps?

It's hard to imagine that there's any reason they'd keep her secret, so we can only hope that whatever surprise they have in store for her is worth this paranoia.
