2. Otis Continues His Sex Clinic Research
Setting up a sex clinic with Maeve has resulted in Otis having to do some research in order to help his ‘clients’ – notably looking up lesbian sex and vaginismus, both of which he knew nothing about.
A whole range of other problems which are alien to Otis will likely be represented to him during Season 2. We need to see Otis continue to take the time to research these topics so he can help others.
This could be anything from being asexual to transgender. Even though it’s a sex clinic, there’s no reason why these things wouldn’t come up as they can all impact people’s sex lives and their sexual identity.
It would be a good gateway into introducing topics like these and seeing Otis research them without much judgement is very important. It shows acceptance and compassion which will hopefully translate onto those watching.
