Netflix's The Order: 12 Questions That Must Be Answered In Season 2

8. Will Renee's Sister Become An Ally?

The mystery surrounding Chloe's and Sophia's deaths could easily be answered by the Necrophone. First, someone needs to find where Pete Morton hid the blasted thing. Jack never found it, despite tearing Pete's garage apart as Midnight. If the Necrophone is to make an appearance in Season 2, it could provide the perfect setup for the inevitable return of Renee's sister.

We never see the nameless necromancer after her escape from Silverback. Since she can see through time, she almost certainly knows about the events currently unfolding at Belgrave. With Edward Coventry gone and memory-wiped Jack presumably unaware that he still champions Midnight, this would be the safest time for her to resurface. This time, she may just do so as friend rather than foe.

The Necrophone was one of her only reasons for giving Jack and Alyssa trouble, and nobody else currently appears to be searching for it. Theoretically, she would have no reason to bear hostility toward Jack upon her return. If anything, his werewolf attack against her appeared to spark her curiosity a great deal. She may be willing to partner with him solely for the purpose of learning more about his powers.

If Renee's sister is indeed willing to work with Jack, she could become a powerful ally in Season 2. This is especially true if she's able to recover the Necrophone. Not only could she allow Jack to communicate with his grandfather, but her powerful necromancy may even be able to facilitate Pete's return.
