Each season of YOU is nothing without a shady figure for Joe to obssess over and end up tangling with. Season one had Ron, Joe's neighbour and the the violent abuser of Paco and his mother, but this role would be expanded on big time and fall onto the introduction of Chris D'Elia's character, Henderson.

A hotshot comedian living in LA, Henderson is an absolute magnet when Joe first meets him, commanding the adoration of everyone from Forty to Ellie. It's Joe's mistrust of Henderson that really kickstarts his spiralling in the season and what really boots everything into unravelling across the season.

Henderson is written just a little bit too inconsistently to really stand out as either a genuine dodgy dude or another unfortunate victim of Joe's unhinged ways however. With Ron, Joe could overhear all of the abuse and torment he was subjecting his family to, which was why the eventual snap made so much sense, whereas Henderson is let down by essentially just being this celebrity that everyone wants to meet and then being someone who Joe starts creeping on because he doesn't trust him.

There are plenty of similar storylines across the two seasons, but this might just be the most shamelessly unoriginal.
