Once Upon A Time: 10 Characters Who Totally Got The Shaft

1. Maleficent It€™s a sure sign that the character is underused when we€™ve seen her more as a dragon than as a human. Maleficent is yet another case of wasted actor. Kristen Bauer van Straten is talented and hilarious as hell as Pam, the catty vampire on True Blood. The fact that we only got to see Maleficent proper for one episode is very disappointing, especially since she is a major villain in the Disney canon (and, to be frank, one of the most terrifying.) Maleficent would have been a great villain in Season 2, as a potential counterpart to the Evil Queen, showing just how much or little Regina has changed. She could have been a wonderful villain for a much-needed Aurora and Phillip background episode, showing how those two met. Besides, imagine the chaos caused in uncursed Storybrooke with Maleficent there! Instead, we get a brief catty gossip session, a dragon fight, and one semi-dragon dust beast fight. At least we have one consolation: she was a pretty badass dragon when we saw her.
