2. Poussey
One of the genuinely nice characters on the show, Poussey Washington is shown to be not only outspoken and funny, but kind and caring towards her fellow inmates as well. Shes best friends with Taystee, and harbours unrequited romantic feels for her. This is used against her in season 2, when Poussey becomes one of the biggest victims of Vees attempts to control the prison, turning her best friend against her. Before Litchfield, she was an army brat, and had a love affair with the daughter of a high-ranking officer, who had her father reassigned. Her father stopped her before she could pull a gun on the officer. Hopefully now with Vee out of the way and Taystee back on side, we'll get to see more of the joking inmate we're used to.
