When the emotions and enthusiasm surrounding the riot die down, there's the question of what to do now. The inmates' answer is to emulate life outside bars - they recreate TV shows (with prison guards playing the main roles), assume various roles (like Big Boo becoming the brash, elegant presenter/lawyer, all thanks to putting on a suit) and run their own businesses.

Flaca and Maritza become YouTube stars, which is probably what they would've done when out of prison. However, the one that gets to live like an actual person is Pennsatucky, who runs away to the guard's house, eats junk food, and sits in front of the television.

These show not only the immanent need of order and organization shared by these women, but also prove their potential to one day become actual, functioning citizens. When given the opportunity, they could become functional elements of society. The problem - as proven by Aleida - is once they leave prison, nobody wants to give them a chance.
