7. Ben's Love Of Letters To Cleo
During the Pawnee/Eagleton Unity concert in the finale of season six, Ben is visibly excited when he hears that the band Letters to Cleo is playing.
While they perform, Ben sings along enthusiastically and shouts "I love you Kay Hanley!" While it may seem like one of Ben's many random obsessions, it is actually a subtle payoff to a joke set up way back in season four.
In the episode "The Comeback Kid", while Ben is working on his claymation project Requiem For a Tuesday during his unemployment, he is wearing a Letters to Cleo t-shirt.
The shirt isn't ever spoken about in the episode, which makes the season six payoff even more subtle - and satisying for savvy viewers.
