The biggest breakout star from the show, Chris Pratt’s casting in films such as Zero Dark Thirty and Guardians of the Galaxy greatly impacted the appearance of Andy Dwyer. Pratt initially put on 30lbs to garner a more out of shape appearance for the lovable slacker. Due to high fitness standards in his film roles, however, Dwyer gradually transforms in later seasons.

Since the end of the series, Pratt has reprised his Peter Quill role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. As Owen Grady, Pratt is the leading man of the Jurassic World films with a third one scheduled for a 2021 release. In 2017, Pratt was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Earlier this year, he co-starred with fellow MCU favourite Tom Holland in Pixar’s fantasy flick, Onward. Despite positive reviews, Onward was a box office disaster, failing even to make its budget back. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, cinemas were closed world wide shortly after its release, leading to a digital release shortly thereafter. Pratt’s first outing a film producer will release next year also with The Tomorrow War, a sci fi action flick he will also be starring in.
