Parks & Recreation: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Jerry Gergich

Parks Recreation April Ludgate
NBC

Whether you call him Jerry, Larry, Terry, or even his actual name of Garry, there is no denying that this man is one of the kindest and sweetest characters in the entire show. He was little more than a background character throughout season one, but grew to be a beloved main character by the end of the series.

At no point did he ever have a single bad word to say about anyone, and despite how the entire Parks and Rec team picked on him and made fun of him, he always took everything in good humour, and just wanted to be friends with everyone.

He was also incredibly selfless, sacrificing all of his career goals so he could be at home more to spend quality time with his family. Clearly this was the right decision for him, as he ultimately had a wonderful wife and daughters who loved him very much, and he was eventually rewarded with the position of Mayor of Pawnee. No one deserved it more.

Jerry is so lovable, and so strangely talented at so many things, that it's easy to forget that he has multiple public urination violations, and claimed to be mugged when he simply fell into a lake reaching for a burrito.
