Parks & Recreation: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best

9. Donna Meagle

Parks Recreation April Ludgate
NBC

In terms of their appearances on the show, Donna was almost the opposite of Mark Brendanawicz. While the latter only appeared in the first two seasons of the show, Donna was only classed as a recurring character in this time before being promoted to a series regular and seeing an increase in screen time from season three onward.

From simply popping up in the background every now then, often going entire episodes without speaking, Donna grew in confidence and truly started to let her wonderfully bubbly personality shine through.

The strong, hilariously sassy woman never cared what anyone thought of her, whether she was using her phone when volunteering at a telethon to make a personal call, or shouting at her cousin Ginuwine in front of the rest of her family.

Always ready to spring a surprise, Donna took Ann under her wing when they went speed dating, and invested her money buying shares in the Snakehole Lounge, and while she grew to be surprisingly close with April by the end of season seven, it was her relationship with Tom that was possibly the most fun aspect of her time on the show. Seriously, how much fun was Treat Yo Self Day?
