Parks & Recreation: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best

7. Chris Traeger

Parks Recreation April Ludgate
NBC

Chris Traeger is LITERALLY the most positive person in the history of the world. The future city manager was originally sent to Pawnee in order to cut the budget, but he ended up falling in love with the town and the people within it, and ultimately moved there permanently.

Even despite the often tough times at his job, Chris always went to ridiculous lengths to stay happy, with his positive outlook on life, firmly believing that he will be the first human being to live to be 150 years old.

After unsuccessful relationships with Ann Perkins and Millicent Gergich, Chris was ultimately asked to be the father of Ann's child, a decision that saw them resume their romantic relationship for good. He became a wonderful father to both Oliver and Leslie, and returned to Pawnee in 2025 to the joy of everyone who knew him.

The only thing that goes against Chris, who is otherwise incredibly likeable, is the fact that he brought Ben and Leslie's relationship under scrutiny and almost cost them both of their jobs. Chris was in reality just doing his job and what he believed to be right, but Ben and Leslie were two of his best friends, and there's no denying that this was a dick move.
