1. An Easy Solution To Jesse's Problems

There's a massive solution to Jesse's problems, which is clearly being ignored by the writers. Herr Starr desperately wants Jesse, and Jesse needs his grandmother stopped, so why doesn't Starr simply make a deal with Jesse? This potential partnership was briefly explored at the beginning of the season before being dropped altogether.

In spite of Jesse's dire circumstances, it could be argued that Starr needs Jesse more than Jesse needs him, and therefore he should meet once again with the preacher to broker a deal. Moreover, If Jesse acquired genesis (which Starr has access to) once more, then L'Angelle could be stopped once and for all. But the writers are conveniently ignoring this solution because it would wrap up the Angelville storyline, which they obviously don't want to do yet.
