Preacher Season 3: 5 Ups And 1 Down From 'The Tombs'
1. Eugene & Hitler Revisited
While the third season of Preacher has delivered on almost very count so far, there is one pretty big problem with the narrative and that's the absence of series regulars Eugene and Hitler. The two men have yet to appear and, considering we're almost halfway through the season, that's a bit of a letdown. However, the show is finally starting to right this wrong as, during The Tombs, Satan promises The Saint that he can get his hands on Jesse Custer if he does him a favour.
The unholy creature wants The Saint to track down two of hell's inmates that have escaped and, while Satan didn't actually give their names, it's pretty clear that he's referring to Hitler and Eugene. The last time we saw Hitler and Eugene, they managed to escape from hell.
This could prove to be a great story move, as having the Saint back in action tracking down these two will give us an entirely separate arc from Jesse and his problems in Angelville. Although, the show is already balancing more than enough storylines, so this could also prove to be problematic.
