1. Marie L'Angelle's Absence

While The Tombs proved to be one of Preacher's best episodes yet, there was one tiny little thing that could've improved it further, and that would've been an appearance from the devilish Marie L'Angelle. The elderly woman is the show's primary antagonist this year, and considering she is at the source of all of Jesse's problems, it's necessary that she be on screen to remind us (and Jesse) that she has all the cards.

Without an appearance from the villainous woman, then it's hard to buy that Jesse has no control over the situation. If she's pulling all the strings, then surely she'd be there to remind Jesse of this? It's only a small thing, but if we're to believe that this woman has all the power, she needs to be continually present throughout the season.
