Predicting Marvel's MCU TV Shows
1. Hawkeye
Hawkeye may spend his time today as the Avengers' forgotten man (or their most mocked), but anyone familiar with the character's comics knows that he's only one good story away from being considered a fan-favourite.
While a solo Hawkeye film has about as big a chance of happening as Marvel rebooting the MCU with Namor at the helm, there's nothing to say that a series of his own is off the cards. A limited Hawkeye series may even suit the character more than big screen effort too, especially if Marvel were to look towards Matt Fraction and David Aja's seminal Hawkeye comic from 2012, which introduced the likes of Lucky the Pizza Dog, and cemented a working partnership between Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, the second Hawkeye.
There are some gorgeous fan mockups of a Hawkeye show centred around this idea, and while it's likely that Jeremy Renner would take some convincing, Marvel could easily make it work with Kate as the lead instead.
Plus, it would have a Pizza Dog. Everyone loves Pizza Dogs.
