Howard the Duck is something of a weird situation for Marvel to address. He's so far only appeared in two post-credits sequences, one in the first Guardians of the Galaxy, and the other coming in the sequel. It's unlikely he's being considered a priority by Marvel, and with the disastrous Lucasfilm movie having cemented Howard as one of the most notorious Marvel characters going, he's a pretty big risk for them to address if they decide to do so anyway.
That being said, it's not exactly inconceivable that the feathered character has a following among those at Marvel Studios. Granted, it's probably not a following big enough to allow the Duck to pollute the MCU's waters on the big screen, but it's still possible he could get a new lease on life in TV.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
