Though many decided to write Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. off after its mediocre first season on air, the show managed to go from strength to strength afterwards, eventually going on to become one of the best reviewed Marvel shows out there.
While declining ratings have put a bit of a damper on the show's increasing quality, by the time it's cancelled, Marvel will be able to rest assured knowing they produced a worthwhile TV show, and while they haven't featured in for a season or two, one of the best characters from the series was Adrianne Palicki's Bobbi Morse, codename: Mockingbird.
Morse was due to star in a show of her own alongside Nick Blood's Hunter called Marvel's Most Wanted, but the pilot failed to impress and the show was subsequently canned. There's no reason to say that Most Wanted - or a version of Most Wanted - couldn't be revived though, with Mockingbird as the main focus and the espionage element played more seriously.

He started his own podcast, We Love Dad Movies, in 2022, and has contributed several written pieces to the Eisner-nominated comics website Shelfdust as well.
In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
