Ranking 10 Worst Arrowverse Costumes
5. Elongated Man's Prototype Suit
Elongated Man's introduction into The Flash back in Season 4 was divisive for a number of reasons. Though some were excited to see Barry Allen's comic book best friend show up in the series, they weren't willing to lose Kid Flash in order to see it happen. Others, however, were fearful of how they'd ultimately pull off such an ambitious character - and it's safe to say those fears were not put to rest when the show introduced a prototype costume for the stretchy Ralph Dibny early on.
An all-grey unnecessarily snug bodysuit with an absolutely ridiculous mask that just looked like somebody just had cut eyeholes in a bandana (in the wrong place), it was intended to capitalise on the satirical nature of the character but it ended up looking incredibly cheap and continued the show's descent into corny territory.
In its defense, the thing that separates this one from the others on this list is that it was supposed to look terrible, with Ralph and some of the other characters even cracking jokes about how ugly it was, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to make it even a little bit pleasing in the visual department.
Thankfully his comic-accurate upgrade a few episodes later was in a league of its own.
