Ranking 10 Worst Arrowverse Costumes

Okay so if you're a well-read comic book fan, you'll know that not every costume will automatically translate well to the screen. One that undoubtedly falls into that category is Ray Palmer's Atom suit, so for that reason alone, this writer applauds the Arrowverse's costume designers for trying something more logical.

Unfortunately, the finished product was just too far removed from the character's comic book counterpart that it was virtually impossible to tell who he was supposed to be. With large bulging shoulder plates, chest plates and chunky robotic gauntlets and legs, it was far too bulky to ever convincingly shrink, fly or, well, anything really - and it certainly didn't look logical.

While we certainly can't fault the decision to make his outfit more technological based - or Brandon Routh's absolutely delightful performance in it - it ended up coming off more Iron Man than Atom, and that's a darn shame.
