Fun, fun, fun is the real name of this delightful series. Well, not really, but Apple's first attempt at an animation enjoys itself so much through the first season. Whether it's the musical numbers or the incredible voice cast behind it, Central Park just can't be disliked.

Central Park is based around the daily lives of the Tillerman family and their attempts to save Central Park from an evil businesswoman, Bitsy Brandenham, who wants to turn it into a property and retail development.

The songs are expertly written and are lyrically very funny, with adult themes littered throughout to add extra spice to the mix. Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr, Tituss Burgess, Kathryn Hahn and Stanley Tucci head up the remarkable talent on offer, with Josh Gad also co-creating the series.

Central Park is full of fourth wall-breaking moments and well-written jokes that hit home more often than not, which is probably why Apple has ordered another season of the show.

There was controversy with Kristen Bell's role in the show as she voiced a mixed-race character, though this has been resolved with Bell leaving the second season and the more than capable Emmy Raver-Lampman taking over as the Molly Tillerman character.

In spite of the initial casting backlash, Central Park strolls as easily through its tale as is taking a stroll through Central Park itself.
