Ranking Each Arrowverse Crossover From Worst To Best
3. Crisis On Earth-X
The invasion of Barry and Iris's wedding by the heroes' Nazi counterparts from an alternate Earth proved to be the crowning jewel of the franchise with its winning blend of focused storytelling and epic scale.
The crossover begins with the heroes gathering for the West-Allen nuptials and immediately audiences get to see new (and often entertaining) character interactions in the lead up to the big day. Of course, this goes horribly awry once the Earth-53 villains show up and attack the congregation.
The villains' threat level and motivation are established very quickly and this lends the crossover a foreboding tone that sees Nazi-era imagery, heroes in peril, and even the untimely death of Martin Stein, one half of the nuclear-powered Firestorm.
The crossover culminates in a grand-scale battle between the Earth-1 and Earth-38 heroes and the Earth-53 regime that was unlike anything the Arrowverse had seen up until that point. Subsequent crossovers have not been able to match this Earth-X's level of focus and scale (only CoIE has since exceeded its scale), and it represents the Arrowverse at its peak.
