16. Blind Spot
A group of cybernetic thieves attempt to heist a microchip from a heavily armoured moving vehicle and there isn't much more to it than that. Devoid of any real story and character development outside of a few identifiable traits (the rookie, the crazy psycho, the focused leader, etc), Blind Spot ultimately feels like an empty experience that wants to be an action heavy chase sequence and not much else.
That would be fine if the action involved managed to feel unique, sadly it feels like nothing you haven't seen done before and done better. It is fun for the most part, but while it feels like it is potentially leading to some sort of significant conclusion, the ending note actually manages to retrospectively make everything you had just seen feel even more pointless.
It is hard to say there are even any good ideas here as they feel so undercooked that they're not quite ideas at all. It isn't boring and that is the best that can be said.
