Ranking The Main Characters Of Schitt's Creek From Worst To Best

Of all the characters on Schitt's Creek, Alexis is the one that could easily have fallen into a terrible stereotype of the pretty but dumb spoiled daughter. Alexis avoids that caricature entirely.

While all the members of the Rose family go through transformations over the course of the show, none are quite as well executed as Alexis. Starting off as materialistic and uninterested in those around her, she grows into a compassionate and successful business woman who cares deeply for those closest to her.

She is never portrayed as unintelligent, and her skills in the line of work she pursues proves that. Annie Murphy goes from strength to strength over the seasons and never fails to surprise by adding a new layer to Alexis' complexity.

Her loving relationship with Ted that ends amicably and maturely is a far cry from the Alexis of the first season that was incapable of having a relationship last more than a few weeks. Annie Murphy nails the role and brings an effortless charm to Alexis that isn't easy to do.
