Rick & Morty: 10 Ways We're All Like Morty

It's no secret that Morty deals with a lot of abuse both physically and emotionally. However, it seems that Morty continues to take all of this abuse and go on his crazy adventures with Rick because he just wants his grandfather to acknowledge him.

This is something that everyone deals with in some way. For Morty, it is the approval of his awesome yet maniacal grandfather and for some of us, it could be a parent or mentor.

Either way, we see that Morty is willing to do just about anything for the sake of Ricks approval, it may be unhealthy but it is one of the most human traits that a cartoon character could ever have.
