Rick And Morty: Every Season Four Episode Ranked Worst To Best

3. One Crew Over The Crewcoo's Morty

There are many things that Rick Sanchez has a passionate, unwavering hatred for. Religion, the US education system, and Jerry Smith are among the worst of Rick’s pet peeves, but who knew just how much he despised heist movies.

From start to finish, the episode is a complete spoof on the genre, as both an insult to heisting, and a great example of heisting all at the same time. The structure of the episode, with the flashbacks and music typical of such movies, makes this unique as far as Rick and Morty goes, and nothing short of fun.

Though it still seemed to be trying too hard to be clever, this was pulled off better than Never Ricking Morty, and had enough of the show's usual style to feel like classic Rick and Morty. The new, wacky characters like Angie Flint, Ventriloquiver, and Truckula, and of course the returning Mr. Poopybutthole, managed to keep the story fresh throughout.

The non-stop pace of the episode did slam to a halt at Morty’s meeting with Netflix, but other than this it was an excellent episode.
