Rick And Morty Season 3: Every Episode Ranked From Worst To Best

5. Morty's Mind Blowers

Rick And Morty
Adult Swim

Replacing the improvised comedy of Interdimensional Cable, Morty’s Mind Blowers is a collection of spontaneously performed short stories of unwitnessed adventures that Rick has removed from Morty’s memory.

From causing a substitute teacher to commit suicide because of unintentionally leading principal Vagina to believe he’s a child molester, making an alien – voiced and designed by a fan – question his religion and then be sent to hell, and messing with an army of squirrels by eavesdropping on their wicked schemes, Morty has seen and caused a lot of s**t in his life.

But, because he’s a bully who doesn’t want Morty to remember that he too is capable of making mistakes, Rick forces his sidekick to also forget about his errors in judgement like when he sliced open and got inside the belly of an adorable Beebo because of forgetting what planet he was on, as well as when he stupidly thought ‘take things for granted’ was ‘take things for granite’.

Unlike Interdimensional Cable, Morty’s Mind Blowers is actually funny because the comedy is not removed from the characters and the humour is both persistently dark and simple. It also has the best post-credits scene of the series’ three seasons with Jerry unknowingly leaving E.T to die in his car.
