Riverdale Season 3: 7 Major Questions That Must Be Answered Before The Finale

3. What Are Edgar Evernever’s True Intentions?

The Farm has been a recurring presence since Polly Cooper sought refuge there in Season 1, so it's safe to say that it's always had a place on Riverdale - but now it finally has a face.

After months of teasing viewers with his name, Edgar Evernever finally made his on-screen debut at Riverdale High's performance of Heathers when he, and several other Farm members, eerily started applauding in a rather slow manner (that's not creepy at all, Ed!). While he insists that The Farm is a peaceful sanctuary, it's clear that Betty won't be swayed by his charms (even if he does look like Chad Michael Murray) and is determined to the get to the bottom of this mystery. But what will she discover?

The Farm may have become part of Riverdale's eclectic brand of furniture but that doesn't change the fact that we still know very little about its leader. Sure, it claims to show its followers their deceased relatives and appears to offer guidance to those in need, but you don't have to be Jughead Jones to know that something is really off about it.

With no less than five episodes remaining in the season, we should know more about The Farm by now. The cryptic approach certainly had its value at the beginning in aiding its mystique but the delay of Edgar's first appearance has left the show with very little time to reveal his true intentions for his followers.
