4. Alice Has Been Working With The FBI This Whole Time

One of the finale's most pleasant surprises came when it was revealed that Alice Cooper was actually an informant for the FBI which, now thinking about it, makes so much sense.

During Riverdale's first two seasons, Alice provided fans with some of the show's most memorable moments, sassing her way into our hearts as she protected her family at all costs. She was a strong character that wouldn't bow down to anyone. Yet, for some reason, she found herself drawn to Edgar Evernever, becoming a submissive and oppressed follower of his Farm in the process.

But it turns out that she never became any of those things and was merely using her reporter's intuition to help the FBI bring Edgar down. Hopefully, she'll be able to do just that next season and return to her family because, with all this talk of ascending, it's safe to say they're worried about her.
