The Scream films are known for taking place in Woodsboro, a small, fictional town in California. However, that wont be the case with the TV series. Instead, the events will take place in another fictional town, Lakewood. Its said to be an average suburban setting, which means that as usual well be following the characters around their homes, their high-school and the places they hang-out. It was the setting of a murder that took place 20 years before the series, one a number of people may be connected to, and one that starts to come back in a big way. It makes sense to move the show to a new location, as it helps free it from having to tie into the past events of the franchise and allows it to explore new, if similar ground.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
