Scream TV Series: Everything You Need To Know

6. The Cast And Characters

Being part of the Scream world, and being on MTV, the cast for the show is an assembly of attractive young actors, for most of whom this will be their biggest role to date. Willa Fitzgerald, who has made recurring appearances on Royals Pains and Alpha House, and guest starred in Gotham and Blue Bloods, will play Emma Duval. She€™s set to be one of the leads, and is described as a €œgood girl€ and €œthe peacemaker of her popular group.€ Her father walked out on her and her mother when she was younger, but she€™s bounced back from that and always tries to see the best in people. Audrey Jenson, played by Bex Taylor-Klaus, will be one of the other lead characters, and it€™ll be a video of her going viral that kick-starts the whole story. Her character is said to be a creative, social outcast with dreams of becoming a filmmaker, €œstrong-minded€ brash€, and unsure of her sexuality. Taylor-Klaus will be familiar to anyone who has watched Arrow, where she plays Sin - another social outsider - while she made her breakthrough on AMC€™s The Killing. Noah Foster is a €œprodigy and a boy genius€, who hacks into CERN servers when he isn€™t working at the comic-book store. He loves horror movies, documentaries on true-crime and tales of serial killers. This means he€™ll have more knowledge on the murders that start happening than most, so may play a key role in stopping them, if he isn€™t the one carrying them out. He€™ll be played by John Karna, who€™s appeared in Modern Family and American Storage. Rounding out the fresh meat who€™ll either be killing or trying to avoid getting killed are Carson Young (Key & Peele, The League) as Brooke Maddox, the popular mean-girl whose father is the mayor; Emma€™s boyfriend Will Belmont (Connor Weil - Sharknado) who€™ll probably be cheating on her; Amadeus Serfaini as the new-guy Kieran Wilcox; and Mad Men€™s Sal Romano (Bryan Batt) as Brooke€™s father and Mayor of Lakewood.
