Scrubs: All Main Characters Ranked Worst To Best

Carla - portrayed by Judy Reyes - goes down as one of the more under-appreciated characters in this series. Her character was entirely consistent throughout the show, and although she wasn't as flashy as other parts, her unique presence was an essential part of keeping the series grounded.

One of the first things which gave Carla an edge over other characters came in the fact that her position as a nurse gave plenty of opportunity for conflict. People always looked down on her, and it led to plenty of unique narratives for the writers to explore.

In a cast of goofy and loud roles, Carla was the one who was serious and slightly more reserved. This made her position incredibly relevant and meant that when she had her goofier moments, they all felt special.

She was incredibly charming, likeable and hilarious, despite being a more stoic character. She ranks close to the top, thanks to all of this.
