Scrubs: All Main Characters Ranked Worst To Best

Zach Braff has built a lot of his career around the popularity he attained after scoring this leading role in the hit sit-com. However, he hasn't quite managed to find his footing outside of this role, and that goes to show how great a job he did, and thus how synonymous he is with the name JD.

John Dorian brought an exciting approach to story-telling in that he was a constant daydreamer. These detractions from the plot were a very creative way to infuse jokes, and JD was the holding device which kept them sensible in the show.

His character was funny and utterly goofy, but still an excellent doctor. The contrast between his childish and professional sides made watching him continually entertaining.

It may surprise some readers that he ranks third, But this is thanks to the fact that, despite being the lovable leading figure, his energetic/silly presence unfortunately ended up being rather grating/inappropriate from time to time.

With that being said, he was still an absolute highlight and the perfect protagonist for this series.
