Scrubs Cast: Where Are They Now?

9. Eliza Coupe

Scrubs Sarah Chalke
NBC

Denise Mahoney is one of the few characters in Scrubs that was able to bridge the gap between the first eight seasons, and the black sheep ninth season. She started as an intern in season eight, but was a resident and mentor to the likes of Drew and Lucy in season nine.

Eliza Coupe has since appeared across several different shows including Community, The Millers, House of Lies, Superstore, The Mindy Project, and Veronica Mars, however there are two shows that have made up the majority of her career since 2010.

Almost immediately after Scrubs, Coupe took a lead role as Jane Kerkovich-Williams on Happy Endings. The show ran for three seasons to 2012, with the cast coming together on Zoom in 2020 for a special live event for charity.

Since 2017, she has played Tiger, opposite Josh Hutcherson in the Hulu original series Future Man. Though there is no confirmation at present, it would seem that a season four isn't happening, leaving her open to star in Pivoting with Maggie Q and Ginnifer Goodwin in the foreseeable future.
