Secret Invasion Episode 4 Review - 6 Ups & 4 Downs

4. Up - G'iah Is Gearing Up To Be A Key Player

Secret Invasion Nick Fury
Marvel Studios

The one thing that G'iah's apparent death would have accomplished would have been to provide the spark to send Talos into overdrive. He was already prepared to kill Gravik just for saying his daughter's name, imagine what he would have done had he actually killed her.

Instead, it would seem that this may be the other way around. Anyone expecting Talos to work alongside Fury to bring down Gravik was mistaken, as it now seems the deceased Skrull's best friend will have to properly interact with G'iah for the first time in the series.

In episode three G'iah called Gravik the Skrulls' greatest threat, and while talking to her dad she was desperate for a plan to defeat him. Now it will be Talos' death that lights the spark in G'iah to take her game to the next level. She will come for Gravik hard before the end of the series.

With her Extremis in toe, and who knows what other powers she gave herself secretly off-screen, she could be the only one capable of stopping Gravik, and with Gravik giving her that push to go full on, this could be one hell of a battle.
