Secret Invasion Episode 6 Review - 5 Ups & 4 Downs

2. Up - More Sonya & G'iah Together Please

Secret Invasion Nick Fury
Marvel Studios

Though not on the same scale as the story in the comics, Secret Invasion was a big story on a global scale. From Russia, to London, Finland, and the U.S., the events of the series were spread across the entire planet.

This was one of the reasons that kept two of the series' best characters from meeting each other until the very dying moments of the finale. Emilia Clarke's G'iah and Olivia Colman's Sonya were both great additions to the MCU, and played their own parts to the overall story.

After seeing them share a scene together towards the end of "Home", it became apparent just how criminal it was that this wasn't a duo utilised together more. Both are fantastic acting talents, portraying characters that could bring an exciting and somewhat chaotic dynamic to screens in the future.

With G'iah essentially being the newly appointed leader of the Skrulls, and Sonya vowing to help them in the war that President Ritson has just begun, there is scope for the two of them to spend a lot more time together.
