Sex Education Season 3: 12 Questions That Must Be Answered

While it’s likely that Maeve and Isaac will give a relationship a go, it probably won’t last. Maeve will eventually find out that Isaac deleted Otis’ voicemail, causing Maeve to hate him and wonder how things could’ve been.

Otis also had sex with Ruby and the pair could go on to develop an unusual relationship, which, again, also won’t last.

Maeve and Otis are clearly in love with each other, but they keep missing the right cues to give it a real go. As it seems that the series is building up to them being a couple, let’s hope season 3 allows them to finally get together.

While the will-they-won’t-they trope is already growing tired, there’s still a lot the series could try to explore if they’re waiting for Maeve and Otis to mature before they get together.

Sex Education could drag this out as long as possible, but it won't work if they can’t keep the narrative between them fresh and interesting.
