2. Up - A Great Finale Set-Up
For the first four episodes of the series, each new chapter in the show featured a fun little post-credit sting. These ranged from Jen asking about Steve Rogers’ virginity to She-Hulk twerking with Megan Thee Stallion, but around halfway through season one they stopped.
This however, doesn’t mean that there wasn’t an epic setup for next week’s finale after it felt that the episode should have finished. Jen even referenced that another scene was a little strange in arguably the best fourth wall break yet, but what a scene it was.
It could have been assumed that the Female Lawyer of the Year gala that had been referenced several times would have been the stage for the finale, but as something of a curveball after the natural, satisfying conclusion of the episode, fans were surprised.
With She-Hulk on stage in front of everyone, the mysterious Hulk-King, through the group known as Intelligencia used their copy of Jen’s phone to send her into a fit of anger and rage. The episode ended with many a rifle sight aimed at Jen, as arguably the best setup for the next episode She-Hulk has done. Before this episode, there was no way of knowing what the finale would have in store, but now there is real anticipation to see what happens in episode nine.
