She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Eight Review - 8 Ups & 0 Downs
1. Up - The Titular Superhero
Jen worked for a long time, and incredibly hard, to get to where she ultimately found herself in her career, and she wasn’t about to let becoming a Hulk stop that. Even after rigorous Hulk lessons from Bruce, she had no intentions of becoming a superhero.
This lasted throughout her fight against other-worldly demons alongside Wong, through when she was attacked by the Wrecking Crew, and all of her scuffles with Titania. It wasn’t until a conversation with Matt Murdock did she truly begin to entertain the idea of being a superhero.
With a costume that continued the Phase Four streak of absolutely nailing comic accuracy, Jen suited up to take down Leapfrog’s attacker. As fun as the series has been, this is an MCU property after all, and everyone was waiting to see She-Hulk finally take on some bad guys.
Though the first fight she picked wasn’t actually with a bad guy, she soon made amends as she lost patience waiting for Daredevil to take everyone out on his own. We had so far seen the glamorous and adored side of She-Hulk, but this was the first time as a bonafide superhero, and while it may have come a tad late in the series, it was worth the wait.
