She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Four Review - 7 Ups & 1 Down

7. Up - A Hint Of A Continuing Story

As said previously, episode four had the makings of something of a turning point for the show. If you relate the pacing to that of an MCU movie, the first act is done, and it’s now time to get into the main body of the story.

A new thread was teased at the end of ‘The People vs. Emil Blonsky’ when the Wrecking Crew attacked Jen to seemingly try and get a vial of her blood. This was left as something of a cliff-hanger, and though it wasn’t obviously referenced in ‘Is This Not Real Magic?’, there was enough of a nod to keep the story interesting.

During Jen’s string of horrible dates, both as Jen and as She-Hulk, she found herself sat opposite someone very interested in her abilities, her physique, and whether or not her skin could be pierced by vibranium.

When the Wrecking Crew fled the fight scene with their tails between their legs, they mentioned that their boss wouldn’t be happy. Is this then the mysterious boss’ new tactic of trying to get information about She-Hulk? Romance and interrogation? If so, all that they got from it was another goon to be unhappy with.
