She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Nine Review - 8 Ups & 4 Downs
1. Up - The Set-Up For She-Hulk In Season Two
If you were to be asked whether or not She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was a superhero story, you’d have to say no. There was one real episode of super-heroism from Jennifer Walters, far outweighed by the legal comedy aspect of the show.
This was the point, as Jen herself reminded audiences several times, and while this may have worked for season one, it seems that season two may be making the transition to more of a superhero story. A good balance of both worlds, hopefully.
In the aftermath of Matt Murdock’s victory over Jennifer Walters in the courtroom, the former explained to the latter the unique opportunity she had to do good by the community as both She-Hulk and Jen Walters.
When asked by a reporter whether she would be bringing justice as a lawyer or as a superhero in the closing moments of the finale, she simply answered “both”. This could mean big things for a second season of the show, with even more action, and potential team-ups from the MCU’s new favourite Hulk.
