She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Seven Review - 6 Ups & 2 Downs

4. Up - Female Lawyer Of The Year

It’s fair to say that so far, as promised, She-Hulk has been more of a courtroom comedy than a typical superhero show. With a name like She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, it’s what should be expected, and it has delivered. Having said that, Jen herself has only been seen in court as a lawyer a handful of times.

There was the first episode where she fought Titania, defending Emil Blonsky, and suing Donny Blaze on behalf of Wong. However, within those seemingly fleeting moments, she has proven herself to be a fantastic lawyer. Even when she was GLK & H’s client, while Mallory was her lawyer, it was Jen that came up with the pattern of proving she was using the She-Hulk name.

It has gone relatively under the radar, as everyone in her job is solely focused on the fact that she is 6’7” and green, but in episode seven she is finally given some recognition.

It is in the form of a nomination for Female Lawyer of the Year, which in itself is problematic enough, but at the very least there is recognition for her. Nothing may come of this, but being a great lawyer is something Jen did before becoming She-Hulk, and is another reason why she herself is so great.
