She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Seven Review - 6 Ups & 2 Downs

3. Up - The Return Of Emil Blonsky

Emil Blonsky was an absolute delight in episodes two and three of She-Hulk, though he did steal the spotlight from Jen somewhat. After 14 years away from the MCU, it would have been impossible for that not to be the case. People were excited, and rightly so.

In episode seven, Blonsky returned as Jen was forced to spend a few hours at his retreat. This allowed more focus on Blonsky, and for Tim Roth to flex his impressively funny comedic chops. Who didn’t chuckle at the mention of the Abomniation’s favourite chicken, Princess Silk Feather?

Clearly, Blonsky has actually changed a lot as a character, and this was explored even more so in the setting of his own retreat. He obviously wasn’t lying in order to get released from prison, this was genuinely his true passion and his true lifestyle.

The important thing about Blonsky’s appearance was that this time it didn’t overshadow Jen. He complimented her, certainly, but Jen herself was still very much the focal point of the episode, something we will get to right after mentioning the rest of the people attending the retreat…
