She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Seven Review - 6 Ups & 2 Downs

2. Up - The Group

She Hulk Jen Blonsky
Marvel Studios

There have been some strange characters introduced in She-Hulk so far, with many coming from a pool of weird and wonderful powered beings. The likes of Runa the Light Elf and Mr. Immortal weren’t great additions to the show, but episode seven certainly bucked that trend.

Much of the episode took place within one of Blonsky’s group sessions, as Jen found herself digging into her feelings along with Man-Bull, El Aguila, Saracen, Porcupine, and Wrecker. These characters, their dynamics with each other, and their attitude towards Jen were just so much fun.

There was a lot of bickering between the five men, mainly at the relationship between Man-Bull and El Aguila, but deep down they felt like a family, one that very quickly welcomed Jen with open arms. The fact that they were all immediately so protective over Jen was nice, even the man who attacked her just five short episodes ago.

Jen was only at the retreat because of a misunderstanding and a delayed tow truck, but meeting and bonding with the gang may have genuinely changed her life moving forward. Jen has been kicked around a lot throughout the series, but these five genuinely cared about her and made her feel loved. It was exactly what she needed.
