She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Three Review - 4 Ups & 5 Downs
6. Down - Dennis & Runa's Storyline
The reason Megan Thee Stallion was brought into She-Hulk in the first place was once again to highlight what a delusional idiot Dennis is. He is such a chauvinist, and is so self-absorbed that he described himself as a New York 10 and an LA 11. He really thought he could pull Megan Thee Stallion.
In reality, he never dated Megan Thee Stallion, it was a shapeshifting Elf from New Asgard who scammed him out of $175,000 in car payments, holidays, and the like. This was just cringeworthy. Jen gave a nice wink to the camera when the episode connected the A and B stories, but this B story in particular should have been forgotten before it ever made it to the screen.
The whole thing played out like it was left on the cutting room floor of Thor: Love and Thunder for being too silly. Without digressing too much into how disappointing the fourth instalment in the Thor franchise was, suffice to say that almost nothing would be too silly or too cringey for that movie.
Yet an Elf pretending to be a famous rapper to scam some idiot out of a lot of money, running around the courthouse impersonating the judge and giggling could easily have been an ill-advised plot line on the same wavelength as Stormbreaker being jealous of Mjolnirās relationship with Thor.
