She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Three Review - 4 Ups & 5 Downs

3. Up - Lawyer Show

Back in the first episode of She-Hulk, right at the very end when Jen Walters broke the fourth wall, she reminded audiences that this would be a lawyer show. Though there were hints to this throughout the first two episodes, this was the first chapter to truly feel like it.

‘The People Vs. Emil Blonsky’ from the title alone had more of a courtroom comedy feel to it than anything else in She-Hulk so far, even if the main case took place inside a prison rather than an actual courtroom.

Jen represented Emil Blonsky well, and she proved herself a competent and damn good lawyer, completely flying in the face of those who were questioning her qualifications for no real reason earlier in the episode. Hopefully, there will be more of this to come throughout the series.

This is, however, for the time being a tentative Up. Emil’s court case was great, however if there is going to be more legal hijinks, then it simply has to be better than Runa Vs. Dennis. Pug feels like a character that could properly endear himself to fans given a little more screen time, but the cases have to be better.
