She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Three Review - 4 Ups & 5 Downs

The first two episodes of She-Hulk set a few themes down and built towards several moments in the series. Jen’s control over her own ‘Other Guy’, Titania’s involvement, and Blonsky’s trial were all heavily set up in the first two episodes. It has since been confirmed that Jen can control her Hulk, Blonsky's trial is done, and Titania is still being ignored.

The series needed to be taken somewhere new, and the final scene of ‘The People Vs. Emil Blonsky’ achieved just that. Walking home, Jen was attacked by four men who had robbed an Asgardian construction worker.

Ignoring how silly that sounds, and the choreography itself, it was the point of the attack that at least injected some intrigue into the series. Clearly, the men were after a vial of She-Hulk’s blood, with the mention of ‘the Boss’ only raising further questions. Who exactly is this mysterious authority figure?

Daredevil’s imminent involvement could suggest Kingpin as a hidden puppet master just like in Hawkeye. What about Val? Could she be looking to add to what is surely the Thunderbolts team she is putting together? Maybe this is how Titania will be brought back into things? Could it even be the same person who hired Crossbones to procure the bio-weapon in Lagos? All will be revealed in due time, but it at least gives MCU fans something to think about for now.
