8. Down - The Post-Credit Scene

One of the biggest and best jokes of She-Hulk’s first episode was the post-credit scene. It paid off a running joke throughout the entire episode, Tatiana Maslany absolutely nailed the comedic timing, and it worked on every level.

However, this writer did surmise in last week’s column that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law didn’t need a post-credit scene every week, and that too many may ultimately rob them of their effect. Only two weeks in and there is a danger of this coming true.

She-Hulk’s family meal was entertaining enough, more on it later in the Ups section, but it didn’t need anything further than the screen time it got, and a post-credit scene showing Jen as She-Hulk in ‘funny’ family situations just didn’t need to happen.

It would have been better if either these scenes were left out completely, or if they were added to the main bulk of the episode. This could have added to the painfully short runtime, and alleviated the need for a post-credit scene, potentially removing two entries from the all-important Downs section.

With the episode's few negatives out of the way, let's now focus on the good...
